Bücher- Red Sun in black-and-white
With “When the red sun sinks into the sea by Capri” once crooned Rudi Schuricke himself into the hearts of Italophile Germans. That was 1950 when Italy was hailed as the holy land of the dolce vita and Capri was its swanky jewel on the other side of the Alps. Most of us have not gone beyond daytrips still today. Thus the illustrated coffe-table book comes very handy as a black-and-white ease for the somber days. Our picture shows the promenade of Marina Grande early in the morning when everything is yet still. The sun will come not too soon. The sunset is far away.
